Crossroads!

Helplessly stranded I am

In between crossroads

Deserted and abandoned

Without any signboards

 

Probably a play of cupid

This unforeseen predicament

Or the magic of Eros

My heart has begun to lament

 

Culminating with my love

Should I follow the heart?

Or listen to my brain

Which will leave us apart!

 

But I’ll have to take a road

With destination unknown

A life with regret, remorse and guilt

Or one where she’ll be my own
